AI Agents

AI agents automate complex tasks in your CRM — from scoring leads to generating reports to sending personalised follow-ups.


What Can Agents Do?

Agents can read and write across your CRM:

  • Score or tag contacts based on activity
  • Update deal stages based on rules
  • Summarise a contact's history before a call
  • Enroll contacts in sequences based on criteria
  • Create tasks and assign them
  • Generate reports and email them to you
  • Send personalised emails at scale

Built-In Agents

Prerak includes several pre-built agents ready to use:

Lead ScorerScores contacts (0–100) based on engagement and deal activity
Meeting PrepSummarises a contact before a meeting — recent activity, deal status, last touch
Deal Health CheckFlags deals at risk (no activity, past close date, no next step)
Sequence RecommenderSuggests the best sequence for a contact based on their profile
Activity DigestSends you a daily summary of your team's CRM activity

Running an Agent Manually

  1. Go to Agents in the sidebar
  2. Click on an agent
  3. Review the description and required inputs
  4. Enter inputs (e.g., a contact ID, or select contacts from a filter)
  5. Click Run
  6. Wait for the result (most agents complete in under 30 seconds)

Scheduling an Agent

Agents can run automatically on a schedule.

  1. Open an agent → click Schedule
  2. Choose frequency: daily, weekly, or on a cron schedule
  3. Configure inputs (e.g., "run on all contacts where stage = Lead")
  4. Click Save Schedule

The agent runs automatically and logs results to its run history.


Approval-Required Agents

Some agents are configured to pause before taking action and ask for your approval.

When this happens:

  1. You'll receive a notification: "Agent wants to send 15 emails — Approve?"
  2. Click View Plan to see exactly what the agent intends to do
  3. Click Approve to execute or Reject to cancel

Approval is required for agents that send emails, enroll in sequences, or delete records.


Agent Run History

Go to Agents → [agent name] → History to see:

  • All past runs
  • Run status (completed, failed, pending approval)
  • What actions were taken
  • Output summary

Installing Third-Party Agents (Marketplace)

The Prerak marketplace lets you install agents built by the community.

  1. Go to Agents → Marketplace
  2. Browse or search for agents
  3. Click Install
  4. Review requested permissions (what data the agent can access)
  5. Click Approve & Install

Installed agents appear alongside built-in agents.


Using Agents via AI Chat

With ChatGPT or Claude Desktop connected:

"Run the Lead Scorer on all contacts created this month"

"Show me the results of the last Meeting Prep run for contact john@example.com"

"Schedule the Activity Digest to run every Monday morning"


Privacy & Permissions

Each agent declares which permissions it needs (e.g., contacts:read, deals:write). You can review these when installing or running an agent. Workspace admins can restrict which agents team members can run in Settings → Agents.
