Command Bar & Keyboard Shortcuts

Move faster with the command bar, global search, and keyboard shortcuts.

Command Bar

The command bar lets you search for any record or run any action without leaving your keyboard.

Open it:

  • Press Ctrl+K (Windows/Linux) or Cmd+K (Mac)
  • Or press / from anywhere that isn't a text field

Close it: press Esc or click outside.

Searching for records

Start typing to search across:

  • Deals
  • Contacts and people
  • Companies
  • Tasks
  • Meetings
  • Sequences
  • Workflows
  • Campaigns

Results show a subtitle with helpful context — deal stage and value, task status and due date, contact email. Use / to move between results, and to open the selected one.

Running commands

Below the search results you'll find a Commands section with actions like:

  • New Deal, New Contact, New Company, New Task
  • New Sequence, New Campaign, New Workflow
  • Navigate directly to any section (Deals, Tasks, Inbox, Contacts, etc.)

Type to filter commands by name or description — for example, typing "email" surfaces "New Campaign" and "New Sequence".

No results? Quick-create

If nothing matches your search, three quick-create buttons appear so you can immediately create a Deal, Contact, or Task with the name you typed — no need to navigate away.

Ask Prerak AI

The AI assistant is separate from the command bar.

Open Ask Prerak: press Ctrl+Shift+K (or Cmd+Shift+K on Mac), or click the Ask Prerak button at the bottom of the screen.
