Quotes & Products
Prerak lets you attach products and line items to deals, generate quotes for customers, and control how those quotes are priced and branded.
Products and line items
Add products to a deal as line items on the deal record's Line Items tab. Each line item can carry a product (or a custom entry), quantity, unit price, discount (percentage or fixed), tax, and — for subscriptions — a recurring billing period. The deal total is calculated live from its line items.
The product catalog itself is managed by admins in Settings → Deals → Products.
Price books
Price books let you offer tiered or customer-specific pricing rather than a single list price.
Where to find it: Settings → Price books.
Define price books there, then apply the appropriate pricing when building line items and quotes.
Quotes
Generate a quote from a deal on its Quotes tab.
- Choose a template (for example Clean, Detailed, or Executive).
- Quotes move through statuses — Draft, Sent, Approved, Rejected — and can require one or multiple approvers.
- A billing handoff tracks provisioning readiness after a quote is accepted, and quotes support e-signature providers.
Quote branding
Control the look and legal copy of your quote documents.
Where to find it: Settings → Quote branding.
Set your styling and standard legal text so every quote PDF is on-brand and consistent.
Deal forms
To let people create deals from outside the app, use embeddable deal forms.
