Data Model

Shape Prerak's records to match how your business works by adding custom fields and custom objects.

Properties and custom fields

Where to find it: Settings → Properties.

Define workspace groups and custom fields one object at a time. Locked system fields stay separate from the fields you can edit, so you can extend a record type without disturbing its built-in structure.

Custom fields you create here show up on the corresponding records — for example, custom deal properties appear on the deal record and in the deal's all-properties view.

Custom objects

Where to find it: Settings → Custom objects.

When the built-in record types (people, companies, deals, tickets) don't cover something you track, define a custom object for it — giving you a dedicated record type with its own fields.

Tip: Group related custom fields so they appear together on the record, keeping the layout readable as you add more.
